The 2024 NASPA Annual Conference is right around the corner, and I am so excited for all of the opportunities to connect we have lined up in Seattle! If you haven’t already checked out our program guide, make sure to set aside some time to map out your schedule to include our sponsored programs, constituent group meetings, and recommended sessions for people serving in roles like ours.
Our in-person convening at the Town Hall session on Tuesday, March 12, will be an opportunity for all those in chief of staff and similar roles to come together and contribute to the vision of our future plans as a NASPA constituent group. Over the last year, we have built significant momentum in charting our path, and we’ve got even more ideas in the works for the year ahead. Come join us!

2024 NASPA Annual Conference Opportunities for Strategic Principal Advisors
The NASPA Strategic, Administrative, Operations, and Executive Advisory Roles Steering Committee is hosting a few opportunities for skill building and community time during the 2024 NAPSA Annual Conference in Seattle!
Pre-Conference Workshop: The Journey of a Strategic Principal Advisor in Student Affairs
Sunday, March 10, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. PT. (advance registration required)
The strategic principal advisor (SPA) role includes positions such as chief of staff, advisor, special assistant, etc. to the senior student affairs officer. Presenters will explore the multitude of duties, diverse career paths, and challenges and opportunities in the SPA role. Participants will engage in discussions and facilitated networking designed for SPAs. Individuals new to the role, seasoned professionals, and individuals interested in an SPA role in the future should attend.
